Sinéad Gleeson discusses This Woman’s Work, a collection of essays she co-edited with Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon on some of our most brilliant contemporary writers. Bob Stanley’s Let’s Do It is the definitive history of the birth of pop, from 1900 to the mid-50s.
