Now, Mark Haddon turns his hand to short fiction, and in this event recorded live at the 2016 Edinburgh International Book Festival he discusses his gripping collection of nine stories, The Pier Falls, which range from the collapse of a seaside pier to the discovery of a huge cave in the Amazon rainforest.
